MI-42002 introduces students to the principles and practice of biblical preaching. The course covers the full journey from biblical text to delivered sermon, equipping preachers to handle God's Word with faithfulness, clarity, and spiritual power.

  • The preacher's calling, spiritual preparation, and dependence on the Holy Spirit
  • The three types of biblical sermons: topical, textual, and expository
  • Step-by-step sermon construction: proposition, main divisions, introduction, development, illustrations, application, and conclusion
  • Vocal and physical delivery technique and preparation methods
  • Diagnosing and solving common structural, content, and spiritual preaching problems

The course balances theological foundation with practical skill-building, forming preachers who are both academically rigorous and Spirit-dependent.
